With personal experiences of CTC fraternity, inference from the media and owing to the public grievances, CTC developed a plan to facilitate emergency medical services in the public places.
To start with, Bangalore city was thoroughly studied and the reports concluded with an urgent need for such services in the premises of KSRTC bus station and Railway stations.
Through our discussions with the KSRTC management we understood on an average 3 people died every day in the KSRTC bus stand mostly due to medical emergencies and accidents. Most of the people travel to Bangalore to avail medical services sometimes even in critical condition.
After the introduction of this service in Nov'2004, jointly by CTC and KSRTC ARF TRUST, there has been NO DEATH in the KSRTC premises. A significant number of people have benefited from timely medical aid and also many people were rescued in emergency condition by an ambulance stationed in the premises.
